1. QRI5 is a reading assessment that helps the teacher estimate each of her students levels. The results can be used to determine the students level of reading, and help the child chose a book appropriate for his reading and comprehension level. It also helps the teacher keep track of the growth and development of the student. It is very individual based and therefore the teacher can get a very clear idea as to exactly what level each of her student's are on.
2. The purpose of this reading intervention is for the teachers to be able to constantly assess her student's level of reading and make sure he is on the right track with the rest of his peers. It helps the teacher get a good idea as to where her student is struggling and needs help.
3. I don't know too much about DIBEL's testing, but from what I do know it sounds a little similar to QRI5 testing.
4. I think QRI5 is a great assessment program that can really be very beneficial for out students, as it designed in a way that tests each child individual not the class as whole, so the teacher can get a clear picture as to what level each of her students are on.
